Overview
This new Research Park, a partnership with the University of Maryland and Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT), will total 2,000,000 square feet on 130 acres. The first 120,000 SF building has been completed and the next phase includes two new buildings at 120,000 square feet each. The Center for Advanced Study of Language (CASL) University of Maryland is also part of the Research Park. That project involved a total gut and demo of the interior taking the building down to the structure. The 160,000 square foot facility is secured for government use complete with SCIF space and raised floors.
