Overview
The existing Safeway was demolished and replaced with a new 54,000 square foot store and an underground parking garage. The store showcases Safeway's latest interior décor and design featuring items such as an open-flame hearth oven, ice seafood case, expanded deli department, Starbuck's Coffee bar and Bergmann's Dry Cleaners.

Mahogany and other natural materials are prevalent throughout the service departments. Recessed incandescent and halogen lighting establishes a warm atmosphere and highlights the merchandise in each section. Additionally, kiosks replace the traditional counter areas found in previous generations of Safeway stores.
